I am looking for information on John BROWN (1821) who was the Justice of the Peace living in Taylor Township in 1860. His wife died early in the marriage leaving John to raise Sarah Jane, Samuel T. Alfred, Anne, and George. Samuel T. BROWN married Emma A. GREEN from Cedar Township in Benton County in 1862. Her parents were George GREEN (1825) and Amelia GREEN (1818). Emma's brother George Smythe Green is my ggrandfather and he died in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Are any names familiar? Please let me know as I am still trying to figure out the Benton County information.
