Francis Lamar Strehl was born Mar. 25, 1921 to Anthony and Philomena Margaret Diekmann Strehl. He died Nov. 29, 1945 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Remsen, IA. 

Chief Petty Officer Strehl served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
