Private First Class Arnold F. Staebell has returned to Camp McCain, Miss., having spent 11 days in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Staebell, and with his wife and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Strub, of Merrill.

Arnold F. Staebell was born Oct. 3, 1920 to Joseph J. “Joe" and Rose Angeline Bauler Staebell. He died Apr. 3, 1985 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
