William J. McDermott is the son of Ambrose and Bridget (Lahiff) McDermott. This is what I know of the family: 1. WILLIAM J. "WILL"3 MCDERMOTT (AMBROSE2, JAMES C.1) was born November 1869 in Pleasant Valley Township, Webster County, Iowa, and died December 24, 1922. He married ANNA T. HOOD June 1906, daughter of JOHN HOOD and BRIDGET RIAL. She was born 1883, and died 1929.

Children of WILLIAM MCDERMOTT and ANNA HOOD are:

i. HOWARD A.4 MCDERMOTT, b. Abt. 1908.

ii. ISABELLE C. MCDERMOTT, b. Abt. 1910.

iii. HUBERT A. MCDERMOTT, b. Abt. 1913.

iv. JOHN C. MCDERMOTT, b. Abt. 1916.

v. JAMES L. MCDERMOTT, b. Abt. 1918.

vi. BILLY MCDERMOTT, b. Abt. 1922.

I would be interested in any additional information that you could give me on this family.

I am unsure if there is a connection between the Hogan and Roger Collins family.
