Services for Adolph Larson, 84, were held Friday morning at the Pilkington funeral parlors. His body was found Wednesday afternoon in his cabin by the Mississippi by William McGowan and Larson's son, Cmdr. Arnold Larson. It was believed that he had been overcome by fumes from a gas heating unit in the cabin. Larson had just returned to the cabin Wednesday morning after spending the winter with McGowan.
Larson is survived by three other sons, John of Dubuque, Adolph Jr. of Lewen, Del., and Raymond, of Spokane, Wash.
