Mrs. Margaret W. Muller, daughter of Henry and Mary (Bente) Wistrick, was born March 31, 1874, on a farm in Cox Creek township and died November 12 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Lundt near Elkport.
On June 03, 1891, she was united in marriage to Charles Theodore Muller. They made their home on a farm in Cox Creek township until Mr. Muller's death in 1927. In 1928, Mrs. Muller moved to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Lundt, where she continued to make her home until her death.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Lydia) Lundt, Elkport; and six sons, William of Rock Island, Ill.; Elmer of Farmersburg; Earl of Albany, Calif.; Lawrence of Elkport; Karl of Mindoro, Wis.; and Robert of Hayfield, Minn.; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Klink of Littleport; Mrs. Lydia Tieden of Puyallup, Wash., and Mrs. Edward (Clara) Leonard of Elkader, and one brother, William of Elkader.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lundt of Elkport and at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church at Garber, with the Rev. G. E. Hesse officiating. Burial was in the Communia cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Lawrence Wentz, Philip Beeh Sr., Clarence Groth, Willis Gottschalk, Harold Conley and Ransom Ruegnitz.
