(To late for last week.) Miss Joanne Lavonne Dryer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dryer of Clayton, and Bernard William Aulwes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Aulwes of Guttenberg, exchanged vows at the St. Peter's Lutheran church in Garnavillo, Friday. The Rev. J. A. Pannkuk officiated. Miss Florence Dryer, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and friend of the bride Miss Carol Stone and Miss Helen Aulwes, sister of the groom, were the two attendants. Gerald Aulwes, brother of the groom, was best man, and Leonard Donnin and Bill Buechel were attendants.
The new couple went on a short wedding trip to Minneapolis, where they visited the groom's brother-in-law, Victor Volstad in the Fort Snelling Veterans Hospital.
The new couple will live in Clayton until Sept. 18, when they will move to Iowa City, where Mr. Aulwes attends college.
