MacTaggart - Ohl marriage - 1955

Miss Jean Ohl became the bride of Clarence MacTaggart, Sept. 11, in the Strawberry Point Methodist church. The Rev. Wayne Carlson officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ohl and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willoughby MacTaggart of Strawberry Point. Mary Ohl, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Gary Fousek, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. Sharon Ohl was flower girl. Serving his brother as best man was John Mactaggart of Strawberry Point. Ushers were Dick Ohl of Oelwein and Everett Mactaggart of Strawberry Point. Candlelighters were twin brothers of the groom, Earl and Verl Mactaggart.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Strawberry Point high school. The bride has been employed at Tegen's store in Strawberry Point and the groom has been at home with his parents. The couple will be at home at 505 S. Grand, Charles City, Iowa, where the groom will attend the Midland Linotype school.
