Best - Roeder marriage - 1955

Miss Patricia Roeder and Wm. Best were married by the Rev. Paul Kitterer in the Peace E. and R. church, Saturday. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Roeder and Mr. Best is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Best of Chicago, Ill. Matron of honor was Mrs. Raymond Kenny, and bridesmaid was Mrs. Thomas Davidsaver. John Best served as best man, and ushers were John Guy, Milton Erickson, Robert Reid and Patrick Morrison.

Mrs. Best is a graduate of the Elkader high school, the Evanston hospital school of nursing and has been employed the last two years by the Santa Fe railroad as a courier nurse. Mr. Best served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended the University of Illinois and Loyola University and is now employed by the Evanston fire department.

The new couple will make Evanston, Ill., their home.
