The wedding of Miss Donna Whitley and Edwin Koehn took place Tuesday, July 26, at the Congregational Christian church, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. The bride's parents are Mrs. Helen Whitley of Elkader and Mr. Arthur Whitley of San Francisco, Calif., The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Koehn of St. Olaf. Maid of honor was Dorothy Whitley, the bride's sister, and the groom's brother, Alvin Koehn of St. Olaf, was best man. Ushers were the groom's brother, Ray Koehn of St. Olaf, and Delbert Hughes, uncle of the bride. Kenneth Glawe and Delbert Hughes Jr., cousins of the bride, lit the candles.
The bride is a graduate of Elkader public high school. The groom is also a graduate of the Elkader high school and served in the Navy. He is employed as cream hauler by the St. Olaf Co-operative creamery, He will be field man for the American Breeders association in St. Olaf, where the couple will make their home after Aug. 08.
