Miss Marietta Bunting, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed C. Bunting of Strawberry Point, became the bride of Donald Derr, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Derr of Arlington, at Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point, July 16. The Rev. S. J. Meyer officiated. Mrs. John Gerdes, organist, accompanied Miss Lorena Gerdes, cousin of the bride, who sang two selections. Attending the couple were Miss Shirley Rose as bridesmaid and Loy Klingman of Arlington as best man. Miss Lorene Bunting, sister of the bride, and Glenn Bunting, Wyoming, Iowa, cousin of the bride, were junior attendants.

At the reception, Mrs. Kenneth Reiger of East Moline, Ill., sister of the groom, cut and served the wedding cake. Marilyn Moser, cousin of the groom, was in charge of the guest book, and Margie Rose, cousin of the bride, received and displayed the gifts.

The bride attended Strawberry Point high school and the groom served four and one-half years in the Army, 17 months of which were in Korea. The couple will be at home on a farm west of Strawberry Point.
