The issue with this family is on adoption papers from Polk County, Iowa, Charles last name is spelled Harrington. Yet his widow wife, Ida, when she died here in Grand Rapids, Kent county Michigan, she spelled her name Ida Herrington with an "e" not an "a."
Charles and Ida children:
Pearl
Blanche
Lyle
Everett
Helen (Hellen, my great grandma)
Kenneth
Harold
Harry

I have no idea where Charles died. I know he died in Feb. 1912 because he died only a few days from the birth of the twins Harold and Harry. That's all the information I have. Then May Spoon and MA Fisher adopt the kids. Ida wnet by her middle name "May" at times. Ida May and MA Fisher were never married, as far as we know.

I do know that they went to Tulsa Okalahoma for a while, and then in 1939's came to Grand Rapids, Kent County Michigan.

Ida died April 1948.. Her name was Ida May Spoon.

This is just crazy to not find something on this family, somewhere.
