R. S. Dickinson and Emily had a daughter, Harriet "Hattie" W. Dickinson, b. abt 1858 at Liberty, Scott, IA, who is in my maternal g-g-grandmother. She married W. (probably William) Chester Stroud, b. abt 1851 in WI, abt 1872 probably at Boone County, AR. They had four children that I know of: Emily, b. abt 1873 in AR; Glenna Belle, b. 20 May 1875 in Boone County, AR; Fredrick, b. abt 1877 in IA; and Merril, b. abt 1879 in AR. C. W. Stroud died abt 1886 in either IA or AR. Harriet "Hattie" married William M. Montgomery abt 1889 in Missouri and lived at Lebanon, Laclede County, for the next thirty years. Emily and Merril lived next to Harriet in the 1900 Census and with her in the 1910 Census. Emily died before the 1920 Census as only Merril is living with Harriet at that time. Harriet and William Montgomery had one son, General, b. abt 1897.
I hope this is helpful. I am currently seeking the date and place of death of Rudolphus Dickinson. Any assistance will be appreciated.
