Clayton County Register, 12 Apr. 1951.

Miss Mary Ahrens, 75, Guttenberg, a former Elkader resident, died at a hospital at Independence Monday evening, April 09. Services were held at St. Paul's church in Garnavillo at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. L. C. Urlaub will officiate.

Burial will be at Garnavillo.
