Clayton County Register, 15 Mar. 1951.

The death of John N. Probert, 84, occurred Wednesday afternoon at his home in Highland township, north of Volga.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the presbyterian church at 2 o'clock with burial in Hill Crest cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Walter Rothlisberger, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Walter Roys, Arlington, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Nellie Davis, preceded him in death in 1932, also two young daughters.
