Johnson - Pust marriage - 1951

Hope Lutheran church of Littleport was the setting, Friday, for the wedding of Betty Lou Pust, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Pust and Paul Layton Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert T. Johnson and Loretta Johnson of Chippewa Falls, Wis. The Rev. S. J. Meyer officiated. Miss Gloria Ruegnitz, of Cedar Rapids, served as maid of honor, and Miss Ila Mae Klink served her cousin as bridesmaid. Best man was Leslie Klink and Douglas Klink was groomsman, both cousins of the bride. The bride's grandmothers, Mrs. Elizabeth Klink and Mrs. Carrie Pust, were both present.

After a short honeymoon to Chicago, the new couple will be at home in Fayette, where they both will attend the summer session at Upper Iowa University. Paul will receive his B.A. degree at the close of the summer quarter.
