St. John's Lutheran church of Farmersburg was the scene, June 02, for the marriage of Miss Dorothy Dahlstrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hervey Dahlstrom, and Robert Gronlund, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gronlund of Duluth, Minn. The Rev. R. H. Steege officiated. Miss Norma Nelson was maid of honor and Miss Doris Hereboldt was bridesmaid. Gerald Gronlund was his brother's best man and Glen Gronlund, brother of the groom, and Ray Johnson and Norman Fintel, friends of the groom, were ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Farmersburg high school and Wartburg college, and for the past two years has been teaching music in the high schools at Winthrop and Marble Rock. She will continue teaching at Marble Rock. The groom is a graduate from Duluth high school and Wartburg college and is attending Wartburg seminary at Dubuque.
After Sept. 01, they will make their home in Charles City, where Mr. Gronlund will assist Pastor Walter Fritachel in the work of the Lutheran church of that city for the coming school year.
