MacTaggart - Schmidt marriage - 1959

MACTAGGART, SCHMIDT, ZWANZIGER, ANDREAE

Miss Lorraine Esther Schmidt became the bride of FN Verl MacTaggart, Nov. 14. The Rev. Herman Cronrath, pastor of the St. Sebald Lutheran Church, officiated. Attending the couple were Andrea Zwanziger, Volga, cousin of the bride, and Earl Mactaggart, Cedar Rapids, twin brother of the groom. David Andreae, cousin of the bride, was candlelighter, and Andrew Schmidt, brother of the bride, and Gary Brown, friend of the groom, seated the guests.

At the reception in the church parlors, Mrs. Alwin Zwanziger was reception hostess, Mrs. Herbert Andreae, aunt of the bride, cut the cake, and Miss Marla Putzier and Miss Marlene Zwanziger, poured. Miss Dorothy Schmidt was among those who helped with the gifts.

The bride is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and attended Allen Memorial
Lutheran School of Nursing in Waterloo. The groom is also a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and is now at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center.

The new couple will reside at 1324 22nd Street, North Chicago, Ill.
