Mrs. Keeney, 70, Dies at Carlisle

Carlisle – Mrs. A. W. Keeney, 70, of Carlisle, died at her home here Wednesday morning. Although she had been ill for several months, her death came unexpectedly. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Carlisle Methodist Church. Burial will be in the local cemetery.
Mrs. Keeney was the daughter of the late John Hicks and Ellen Stumbo Randleman. She lived her entire life in the Carlisle community with the exception of a few years lived in Indianola while her husband served as deputy county treasurer. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roy Schooler of Hartford, Mrs. Truman Rothfus of Ft. Des Moines, and Mrs. John Jamison of Weston, Mo., five grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Fred Garnett of Carlisle, three brothers, Fred and Will Randleman of Carlisle, and Travis Randleman of Des Moines.
