Funeral services were held for Edward J. Langebartels Wednesday at the St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Lacona. Mr. Langebartels was born March 28, 1889 and died May 9. He farmed near Lacona for many years. Besides his widow, his survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Glen Nolte of Lacona, Mrs. Richard Becker of Milo, and Mrs. Guy Hartz of Milo, three sons, Raymond of Melcher, and Ernie and Eddie of Lacona; 20 grandchildren and three sisters. The Rev. Edmund Frese conducted the service.
