Marshall D. Watson, son of Carl and Martha Standley Watson, was born October 19, 1911 near Stockport and died the evening of Saturday, January 13, 1990 at Parkview Care Center, Fairfield at the age of 78.
He spent his life farming near Stockport
Surviving are a brother, Dewey of Stockport, a sister, Naomi Johnson of Keosauqua, other relatives and friends.
A sister, Myrtle Watson preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 16, 1990 at 2 p.m. in the Hillsboro Christian Church with David Callen, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Hillsboro Cemetery. A memorial was established for the Hillsboro Christian Church. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
