Aug. 30, 1903 - Feb. 19, 1990MEMPHIS, Mo. - Nora Frances Miller, 86, of Memphis, died Monday Feb. 19, in the Scotland County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 30, 1903, in Antioch, Mo., the daughter of John Henry and Effie D. Mendenhall. She married William Miller on July17, 1920, in Sercy, Ark. She moved to Memphis in 1925.
Survivors include her daughters, Edyth Jones of Gorin, Frances Harris of Newton, Miss. and Mary Downing of Milton, Iowa; sons, Henry Miller of Oakland, Calif., Edward Miller and James Miller, both of Keokuk; Robert Miller of Canton, Mo., William Miller of Tomah, Wish.(err), Frederick Miller, Salem, Ore., Richard Miller of Bitsburg, Germany and Charles Miller of Kahoka; brothers Joe Mendenhall of Memphis and Ernest Mendenhall of grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two infant children.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Services were held Feb. 23 at the First Christian officiating.
Burial was in the Memphis Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.
The Payne-Gerth Chapel in Memphis was in charge arrangements.
