Christine V. Small, 27, of 200 N. 28th St., Lot 17, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 1990 from complications following heart surgery at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with Elder Mark Shaner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Sunday. The casket will be closed. Memorials may be give to the family.
Mrs. Small was born Sept. 30, 1962, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Joseph and Kay Tully Wiley. She graduated in 1982 from Ottumwa High School. She married Craig A. Small on Oct. 9, 1982, at the Davis Street Christian Church in Ottumwa. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter Christina and a son Michael, all of Fairfield; mother and stepfather, Don and Kay Brooks of Ottumwa; father of Fairfield; grandparents, Vernon and Mary Tully of Winterset, Cloris Wiley of Cantril; four sisters, Tammy Bigham, Julia Houk, Melissa Wiley, all of Ottumwa, Billie Jo Wiley of Fairfield; two brothers, Joseph Wiley Jr., Jeff Wiley, both of Ottumwa; two stepbrothers, Martin Brooks of Fairfield, Brian Brooks of Keosauqua; and 14 nephews and nieces.
