Nellie B. Siemon

Nellie B. Siemon, daughter of Lewis and Florence Knox Anderson, was born May 3, 1903 near Kilbourn, Iowa and departed this life the evening of Thursday, September 13, 1990 at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, at the age of 87.

She married Frank Siemon June 8, 1921 in Fairfield. He died December 31, 1974. Nellie and Frank farmed in Van Buren County. She moved to Keosauqua in 1975.

Remaining to cherish her memory are three daughter, Eileen Fellows, Redwood City, California, Donna Jean Jones, Project City, California and Dorothy Roberts, Keosauqua, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Wilda Fellows, Douds and Mildred Loker, Redwood City, Calif., three brothers, Rome and Robert Anderson, Redding, Calif. and Jean Anderson, Keosauqua, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Franklin Siemon, a granddaughter, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 16, 1990 at 2 P.M. in Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Douds. Memorials may be made to charity of donor's choice.
