Hazel Kinzie

Hazel Kinzie, daughter of Owen and Estella Tedrow Jones, was born September 25, 1909 near Douds and died the morning of January 19, 1990 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoeniz(err), Arizona at the age of 80.

She married Roland Kinzie May 19, 1950 at Columbia, Mo. She spent her early life in the Douds Community and she and Roland lived many years in Waterloo, lived for a time in Hedrick and moved to Ajo, Arizona in October , 1988.

Surviving are her husband, daughter, Betty Topping, and her husband Rex, Ajo, Arizona, three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Hazel was preceded in by two sons, Harold "Jack" Stagers and Dale Stagers, an infant daughter and four brothers, Milo, George, Harold and Floyd Jones.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 24, 1990 at 10:30 A.M. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds, with Rev. Stephen Metcalf-Conte officiating. Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
