Delta Stewart

Delta Mae Stewart, 90, of Bloomfield died at 1:07 p.m. Nov. 30, 1990, at Bloomfield Care Center.

She was born Jan. 27, 1900, in Douds to Joshua Paul Stewart on Dec. 7, 1921, in Douds. He preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Keosauqua High School and was affiliated with Zion Lutheran Church in Douds and Drakesville United Methodist Church. She was a retired school teacher and homemaker, a member of Drakesville Quilting Club, Mission Circle, former member of Cosmos Club, Civic League and Women's Relief Corp.

She is survived by a daughter, Louise Bowersox of Bloomfield; two sons, Donald R. Lubbock, Texas and Rex W. of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert H.; a daughter, Doris L. Dearborn; and two brothers, Daniel and Eugene.

The service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. e, 1990 at Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield, the Revs. Jerald Swanberg and Michael Owens officiating. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Douds.

Memorials may be made to Drakesville United Methodist Church or American Association.
