MRS. SENA JENSEN DIED SUNDAY IN MARSHALLTOWN
Mrs. Sena Jensen, widow of John P. Jensen, died at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown at 12:54 a.m. Sunday, where she had been a patient since Wednesday.
She was born Jan. 27m 1880, a daughter of John and Karen Marie Nelson, early residents of Story county, near Story City, where she lived until her marriage on Feb. 6, 1907, to John P. Jensen in Marshalltown. She had since that time made her home in Marshalltown.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, Harold J. and Marie Jensen and Mrs. Virgil McAlister, all of Marshalltown; one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Lewis Peterson and Chris Nelson of Story City, Peter Nelson of Stratford and Walter Nelson of Ames. Mr. Jensen died in 1924. Also one son died in infancy and one sister passed away in 1918.
Funerals Held Tuesday
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Estel Funeral home in Marshalltown, in charge of Rev. P. G. Dennis, pastor of the Central Church of Christ. Another service was held at 2 o'clock at the Grace Evangelical church in Story City, in charge of the pastor, Rev. Walter E. Ulrich. At this service Mrs. Geo. Sowers sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "O Love, that Will Not Let Me Go," accompanied by Mrs. Everett Anderson at the organ. Burial was in Fairview cemetery at Story City. The casket bearers were John H. Johnson, Martin Jensen, Nels Paulson, John Larson, Henry West and Nels P. Larson.

Nelson of Jewel; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nelson, Mrs. Julian Dysart and Mrs. May Charmichael of Stratford; Mrs. Bertha Helgerson of Austin, Minn.; Chas. Ahrens of Boone; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson, Arnold Lund and Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Johnson of Ames; Mrs. H. B. Parrish and Karen of Blockton; Mrs. Chas. Kemble of Panora.
