JANE ELLEN SMITH

Jane Ellen Smith of Maryville, MO died on September 21, 1998, at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas at 9:53 a.m.

Jane was the daughter of Glen and Evelyn Pollard Sissel and was born in Kellerton, Iowa. She was married to David M. Smith on August 22, 1969 in Kellerton.

She was a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO and received a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling. Jane worked as a supervisor of Accounts Receivable in the cashiering department at Northwest Missouri State University.

Jane attended the Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville and was a member of B. P. W. in Maryville. She was a resident of Maryville for 30 years.

Jane is survived by her husband David Smith of their home in rural Maryville; her daughter Andrea Smith of their home in rural Maryville; her parents Glen and Evelyn Sissel of Kellerton; and one sister Suzanne Brown and her family of Des Moines, IA.

Visitation will be at the Price Funeral Home Chapel, 120 East First Street, Maryville, MO on Thursday, September 24, 1998 from 7-8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be at the Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville, MO on Friday, September 25, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Paul McKim will officiate the service.

Interment will be in Kellerton Cemetery, Kellerton.

Memorial can be made to the Laura Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
