Last rites for Henry P. Rahlf, 86, will be held at the Lacock Funeral Home at 10 a.m. today (Sept. 28) with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Burial will be in the Muscatine Memorial Park cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert and Henry Ploen, Elmer Eichoff, Russel and Robert Rahlf and Ron DeFosse.

The son of August and Margaret Ploen Rahlf, he was born at Allenton, Wis. May 5, 1902. He was married to Viola Horstman in Big Rock Feb. 17, 1940. She died in 1959. He worked as a car loader at John Deere, retiring in 1966. He was a member of the National Rifle Assocation and the United Auto Workers.

He is survived by 4 sons, Ronald, Moscow; Robert and Donald, Wilton and Gary, San Francisco, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Doris) DeFosse, Moscow; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Frank, Allenton and Emil, Lawrence, Wis.

He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 7 brothers.
