Mom was known as Gloria to her schoolmates, Jeanie to her parents and siblings and as Jean to all her many friends in Utah.

Mom and her four siblings grew up in Onawa, IA. She graduated in 1962 from Onawa High School.

Mom was involved in various areas of West Jordan, from the Volunteer Fire Department (She was the president of the Women's Auxiliary and then the president of the Fire Association), to working on the Rodeo Queen committee, working with the city to get funding for a park close to our neighborhood, Mom loved to get involved and help where needed along with making long lasting friendships along the way.

She went on to work outside the home in the Automotive Body and Fender repair business, working in the office and loved every minute of it. Mom had the best sense of humor and had so many wonderful friends because of that.
