Chloris R. Ingram, daughter of C.R. and Mabel Eaton Van Baren was born March 19, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa and departed this life May 30, 1989 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 64 years, two months and 11 days.

Chloris attended school in Newton, Iowa where she graduated from high school.

On August 31, 1967 she was united in marriage to Clifford Ingram in Des Moines.

Chloris worked for Maytag in Newton, Iowa before going to work for R. & R. Welding Supply in Des Moines in 1967 where she worked until 1972 when she and Clifford moved to St. Charles, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford Ingram of St. Charles; daughter, Carolyn Harris of Kellogg, Iowa, son, Michael Ingram of St. Charles, Iowa; step-daughter Roberta Sheryl Swarts of Flagstaff, Arizona; step-son, Randall Penn Ingram and wife, Brenda of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Arnold Van Baren and wife, Wilma of Johnston, Iowa; sister, Naomi Elliott of Kellogg, Iowa; 5 step-grandchildren; and one step-great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Friday June 2 at 1 p.m. at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro, Iowa. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery at St. Charles. Rev. Tom Webster of St. Charles officiated at the services.
