Hello Steven,

I have been working on documenting Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun as well as the Rice and Concord Cemetery this summer, also located in Morning Sun Twp.

There is no evidence of Joseph Scott buried in Morning Sun Twp, nor any place else in Louisa County. He is not found in the WPA Graves Regirstration project either.

Best I can suggest is to contact the Louisa County Recorder's office at http://www.louisacountyiowa.org/
to see if they have a record of it.

If the Recorder's office requires a walk-in to look up the record, then send me an email and I
can refer you to a researher.
