Miss Harriet Bell died at her home in Morning Sun Monday, Nov. 19, at the age of 65 years. She was a resident of that city many years. Miss Bell was a consistent christian, having united with the United Presbyterian church on October 14, 1872, and was a faithful member of the Sunday school and Missionary society. She was of a kind and retiring disposition. Surviving are Miss Eunice Bell of Creston, a sister, and four brothers, John of Amsterdam, Mo.; Samuel of Warrensburg, Mo.; Henry of Creston, Iowa and Thomas, who lives near Winfield, Iowa. A brother William and two sisters, Eliza and Mattie, died some time ago. Funeral services were held from the home yesterday afternoon, her pastor, Rev. J. H. McCormick, in charge, assisted by Rev. Lanning. Interment in the Elmwood cemetery.
