Geo. J. Lischer passed away this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. E. Minor in this city, after a long illness with dropsy, He is survived by four children, A.G. Lischer and Mrs. T. E. Minor of this city, Paul Lischer of Mediapolis and Miss Sophia Lischer of Columbus City. The wife died several yeas ago. The remains will be taken to the home in Columbus City tomorrow and the funeral will be held Saturday on which day he would have been 79 years of age.
