Mrs. Hattie Copeland died at her home in the east part of town last night following a few days illness, having suffered a stroke of paralysis Tuesday night. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. A. E. Cameron in the absence of the deceased's pastor. Rev. F. W. Mayfield assisted. The interment was made at Elmwood cemetery. - Morning Sun News-Herald
