Oakville Sentinel: Arnold, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gerst, was born November 5, 1910; died May 15, 1911, aged six months and eight days. Little Arnold was ill about two weeks and the little one was too frail to withstand the illness. He was a bright little babe and his presence in the home was a joy to the family who now morn his death. The sympathy of the community is felt for the family. The funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon May 15, at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Elias Winzler, of Morton, Ill., and the little form was laid to rest in the Apostolic burial lot in the Hawkeye cemetery.
