Clarence Arthur, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vandervort, was born in Wapello, Iowa, January 8, 1911, and died at the family home in this city Thursday afternoon, April 21, at five o'clock, age three months and eleven days, after a three week's illness with erysipeias and complications. Funeral services were held from the M. E. church Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. J. E. Newsom. Interment in the Wapello cemetery. Besides the parents he is survived by two sisters, Frances and Lucile.
