Minnie O. Husmann, 68, died suddenly at her home near Scotch Grove, Monday night, May 22, 1972 from an apparent heart attack.

Georgianne Wilhelmina Oltmanns was born near Scotch Grove, March 11, 1904, the daughter of George and Gesina Rickels Oltmanns. She received her early education in the Jones county rural schools and graduated from Monticello high school in 1924. Following graduation she taught in the rural schools of Jones county for a number of years. In recent years she had farmed the Oltmanns homestead with the assistance of her son.

She had been baptized and confirmed in St. John Lutheran church near Monticello where she was a member.

She was married to Fred Husmann, Dec. 30, 1925.

Survivors are a son, Arthur Husmann, a granddaughter, three grandsons, and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Henry A. Oltmanns, Clinton, F. C. (Ted) Oltmanns, Ceres, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Alta) Husmann, Monticello; Mrs. Louie (Elfrieda) Hanken, Scotch Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 25 at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran church with interment in St. John cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. William Kroner will officiate.

Casket bearers are Rudolph Oltmanns, Claude Husmann, James Hughes, Wesley Glahn, Thomas Streets, Arthur Rickels.
