Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret R. Drumbarger are scheduled for Thursday, March 9, 1972 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church, with wake service at McNamara's Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. She died March 6 at Anamosa Community hospital following a brief illness. The Rev. Alfred Brosius will officiate at the services and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. McNamara Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Healy, Ralph Porter, Lawrence LaBarge, Lawrence Shanney, John Soukup and William Green. Music will be by St. Patrick's children's choir, accompanied by Mrs. Harold Martensen.
Margaret Drumbarger was born in Churubusco, N.Y., March 25, 1892, the daughter of Michael and Mary Sampica Rushford. She was married to Harry Drumbarger of Viola at St. Joseph's church, Stone City, and they lived in the Stone City and Viola area. She was employed by the Anamosa hospital for 20 years and was a member of the Altar and Rosary society and St. Patrick's church.
She is survived by a daughter, Pauline Drumbarger, Anamosa. She was preceded in death by her husband.
