Last rites for Floyd E. Bahmler, 91, rural Iowa City, will be held at the Brosh Funeral Home, Solon at 2 p.m. today (March 22) with the Rev. Doug Peters officiating. Burial is in Oakland cemetery, Solon. Mr. Bahmler died at his home March 19.

Born in Johnson county Sept. 1, 1897 he was married to Helen Wieste at Aurora June 3, 1938. She died in 1970. Mr. Bahmler was a retired plumber.

He is survived by a stepson, Charles Wiest, Iowa City.
