Thanks for your answer. I will soon look for an obituary for Nancy Ann Parks through these newspaper microfilms.

Yes, that is true regarding the fact there would be no obituary notices for some people. But one Ottumwa Courier newspaper did show an obituary notice for Isabell "Belle" Nancy (Parks) Basford Campbell Higgins (Nancy Ann Coop Parks' eldest child & Nancy Ann Bonham Parks' granddaughter) even when she died and was buried way over in Kechi (near Wichita), Kansas!
