Verda,
Some weeks ago, I finally located Glassburner Cemetery in Davis County where I pictured the gravestone of Nancy Ann [Bonham] Parks, wife of Jacob Parks.
The question I have for you is to find out whether Fairfield Public Library does have its local newspapers covering the month of September in the year 1892. Does it?
I tried to find the obituary for Nancy Ann in the Bloomfield Public Library's genealogical division, but alas, this library does not have any newspaper covering that particular year.
Since Nancy Ann moved to Jefferson County with her husband Jacob and children (including a son Silas, who married Nancy Ann Coop, a daughter of Col. William G. Coop), I thought maybe Fairfield newspaper office did publish Nancy Ann Bonham Parks'obituary notice, even though the latter died in Davis County and was buried there. The latter died on September 22, 1892, more likely at what was once Glassburner family farm. The cemetery of the same name was maybe a half-mile off the gravel road next to the house privately owned by someone. The connection between that Glassburner family property and Nancy Ann Parks was the fact her daughter Hannah was secondly married to George Glassburner. Hannah was firstly married to Ransom Coop (I think he's descended from either a brother of David Coop named John or his son named John).
Please reply on this board.....not my email because I am on vacation, therefore I will not be able to answer my emails for a while. Hopefully, I will get my answer soon.
