(March 30, 1864 – July 24, 1945)

Obituary
Gustaf A. Hagerstrand was born in Sweden, March 30, 1864 and passed away at his home in Ida Grove, Tuesday morning, July 24. He came to Ida Grove in 1893 and has resided in this community since. In 1900 he was married to Cora M. Cromley and to this union two sons were born, one passing away in infancy. He is survived by his wife, son Adolph of Cherokee and granddaughter Patricia. Mr. Hagerstrand will be greatly missed by his family and a wide circle of friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Moore & Christensen Funeral Home with Rev. Albert C. J. Kellow officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Raymond Rutt. Mrs. E. A. Swanke sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “The City Four Square,” accompanied by Mrs. C. K. Lahman. Interment was in the Ida Grove Cemetery. Pall bearers were Will Young, M. A. Piper, Chas. Yousling, Will Lampe, F. L. McKay and Arthur Ramge.
