Mrs. John Clark, wife of John Clark, one of the Clark brothers who used to make Cresco their home, and a daughter of Richard Wentworth, now resides with his son A. J. near Burr Oak, died May 19th at her home in Dubuque and the remains were brought to Cresco last Saturday for interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery. Father Ryan conducting the burial service at the grave.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name was Mary and that she was born Oct. 29, 1857.
