OBITUARY.
Markham.
Moretta Lenora Wheeler, eldest daughter of Daniel and Anna Wheeler, was born in Decorah, Iowa, Aug. 24, 1854, and while in her childhood she came with her parents to Cresco where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to William J. Markham May 24, 1882, and passed away May 23, 1919, aged 64 years and nine months.
She was a faithful member of the Baptist church, always doing good whenever she could. She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, William J. Markham, two adopted children, and three brothers, A. C. and D. A. Wheeler of Cresco, and James S. of Bemidji, Minn.
Funeral services conducted at the residence by Rev. J. A. Pettit, Baptist pastor. Burial at New Oregon cemetery.Card of Thanks.
