Miss Iva Torkelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Torkelson of Farmersburg became the bride of Lee Klinkenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Klinkenberg of St. Olaf., Jan. 24. The ceremony took place in St. John's Lutheran church in Farmersburg, with the Rev. Richard H. Steege oficiating. The bride was given in marriage by her brother Quentin. Mrs. Lloyd Leonard, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Mrs. Millard Houg, also a sister of the bride was bridesmaid. Orval Klinkenberg served his brother as best man, Richard Klinkenberg, brother of the groom, and John Palas, friend of the couple were ushers. Mrs. Anna Witte, grandmother of the groom, was present at the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Farmersburg high school and was employed at the Farmersburg Telephone Co. The groom is a graduate of Elkader high school and has been engaged in farming.
After a wedding trip the couple will be at home in Farmersburg.
