Miss Arline E. Nieman, daughter of Mrs. Carrie J. Nieman and the late John B. Nieman of Elkader, exchanged wedding vows with Mr. Stephen Marcsisak, son of Mrs. Anna Marcsisak of Colfax, Iowa, and the late Michael Marcsisak, at Our Redeemer Lutheran church, July 01, with the Rev. John B. Nieman, brother of the bride and pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, Williamsburg, Iowa, officiating the ceremony, and the local pastor, the Rev. H. H. Frohn, delivering the wedding address. Music was provided by Mrs. John B. Nieman, sister-in-law of the bride, who accompanied the soloist, Mr. Joe H. Nieman of Fayette, cousin of the bride. William C. Nieman of Waterloo escorted his sister, the bride, Mrs. Perry B. Williams of Fort Dodge, served her sister as matron of honor, and Mrs. O. H. Moll of Waverly, also a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Joe Marcsisak of Elkader, as best man, and the Rev. O. H. Moll of Waverly, brother-in-law of the bride, who also served as ushers.
At the reception in the church parlors, Mrs. Joe Marcsisak cut and served the cake, and was assisted by many friends of the newly-wed couple. Miss Evanna Marcsisak, niece of the groom, had charge of the guest book, and Miss Donna Marcsisak, another niece of the groom, and Miss June Amann assisted with the gifts.
