Anna Mae Kirchner, 75, of Cherokee, died Thursday in the Cherokee Villa following a brief illness. Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee. Burial will be in the Pilot Township Cemetery, Cherokee, Iowa.

Anna was born December 22, 1922, in Battle Creek, Iowa to Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Booth) Davis. She attended school in the Battle Creek area. On January 19, 1947, she married Harry G. Kirchner in Mapleton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1995. She enjoyed her family, sewing, quilting and embroidery.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Mary Glover and her husband Harold, of Cherokee; 4 sons, Tom and Merle of Cherokee, Randy and his wife Shirley of Cherokee, and Robert and his wife Sandy of Cherokee; 2 brothers, Walter Davis of Castana, Iowa and Merle Davis of Mapleton, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Ninya Kirchner, David Kirchner, Nicholas Kirchner, Christopher Kirchner, Harold Glover and Dana Glover.
