LaVonne Sophie Tuttle, 61, of Aurelia, Iowa passed away Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in Cherokee, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Aurelia.

Mrs. Tuttle was born March 16, 1937, at Holstein, Iowa to Alfred and Ella (Rolfs) Schuett. She attended country schools near Holstein, graduating in 1955. On February 8, 1959, she married Ronald C. Tuttle at the Methodist church in Holstein. She worked as a secretary for Becker Manufacturing prior to her marriage and later for Lundell in Cherokee. The couple own and operate Tuttle Painting and Decorating in Aurelia. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed raising flowers and rabbits.

Survivors include her husband, Ron; a daughter, Kimberly Tuttle and special friend, Clint Paulson, Mesa Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Kathy on July 9, 1973.
