Funeral services for Mrs. Roy (Cleo Jane) James, 73, a native of Tipton, were held in Muscatine Oct. 29, 1988 with the Rev. Eugene Augustine of the First Presbyterian church officiating.

Mrs. James died at her home in Muscatine Oct. 27.

The daughter of Lloyd Eugene and Merle Shaver Casterline, she was born in Tipton July 19, 1915. She married Roy James in Davenport Feb. 17, 1943. She lived in Wilton for 23 years before moving to Muscatine in 1977.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna James, Muscatine; a brother, James Casterline, Tipton; 2 sisters, Ruth Pfiefle, Tipton and Rae Marie Edwards, Columbus, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband July 1, 1970 and by a daughter in infancy.
